I just read a review where someone thought Sun City was unfriendly, and I have to totally disagree. There are three championship 18-hole golf courses in Sun City Texas. Legacy Hills was designed by PGA Hall of Famer Billy Casper and architect Greg Nash.

Although this neighborhood is particularly good for those looking for two bedroom homes. We're changing the way people 55 and older are searching for their perfect next place. Our house appears to be well built with all of the appointments we asked for. The community is just awesome and we can't wait to start using the many amenities.

We love the ideal of sun city but the comments about the construction and raising the HOA fees to cover the cost of the 3 golf courses that only 25 to 30% of the residents us Concerns us . People complain about part of our HOA fees going to the golf courses, that is part of the beauty of our community, and it keeps the houses from all being on top of each other. Where in the world can you pay $100 per month for an HOA and get this much beauty and swimming, gym, etc.?
Original owners have taken great care of this home which features handsome wood flooring, crown molding, recent interior paint and granite in kitchen/baths. A giant flagstone patio out back is large enough for several seating groups with gas stub for grilling already in place. Planting beds are edged in stone creating a handsome landscape around the home. If you're looking for great amenities, Sun City Texas has pretty much every club and organization you can think of to join, a large woodworking shop, and three 18-hole golf courses. I'd give the amenities five stars; however, I give the home quality zero stars. Once we had moved here from out of state, and had witnessed the construction techniques and quality of materials, we never would have purchased a home here if I'd known this.

Sun City is fantastic retirement community, for over 7,000 people to enjoy, since 1996. Please give this a whirl--it is, by far-- the most wonderful place we have ever lived.
